WP_Customize_Manager::remove_section( string $id )

Removes a customize section.

Description

Note that removing the section doesn’t destroy the WP_Customize_Section instance or remove its filters.

Parameters

$idstringrequired: Section ID.

To remove Colors section completely use the following code.
```
function blogpress_theme_colors_section( $wp_customize ) {
	$wp_customize->remove_section( 'colors' );
}
add_action( 'customize_register', 'blogpress_theme_colors_section' );
```
