This command runs on the `before_wp_load` hook, just before the WP load process
begins.

> **Note:** This command is not part of a stable WP-CLI release yet. To use it
> now, [switch to the nightly build](https://make.wordpress.org/cli/handbook/guides/installing/#updating-wp-cli)
> with `wp cli update --nightly`. If you installed the command as a separate package,
> updating that package may be enough.

### 󠀁[Options](https://developer.wordpress.org/cli/commands/package/get/?output_format=md#options)󠁿

 See the [argument syntax](https://make.wordpress.org/cli/handbook/references/argument-syntax/)
reference for a detailed explanation of the syntax conventions used. <name> Name
of the package to get information for. [–fields=<fields>] Limit the output to specific
fields. Defaults to all fields. [–format=<format>] Render output in a particular
format. — default: table options: – table – csv – json – yaml — [–skip-update-check]
Skip checking for updates. This is faster and avoids authentication issues with
GitHub or Composer repositories.

### 󠀁[Available Fields](https://developer.wordpress.org/cli/commands/package/get/?output_format=md#available-fields)󠁿

 These fields will be displayed by default for each package:

 * name
 * authors

 * update
 * update_version

 These fields are optionally available:

 * description
